Ruth Price – Heart wrenching 911 call

Mrs. Ruth Price was an elderly woman who lived alone. When she noticed a prowler outside her home, she did what anybody would do and called 911 to ask for immediate assistance.

Police were only minutes away, however Mrs. Price did not have but minutes left to live. Before she could give the police dispatcher her address, the killer entered her room. Although the phone dropped to the floor, her screams were captured on the 911 tape as she was beaten to death before the police could arrive.

    Matt,
I understand how upsetting the recording is to listen to.
I felt it was nothing short of demonic; it sent shivers down my spine, made me feel short of breath, made my heart race, and my stomache was in knots.
I regretting even clicking on the recording, and I slept with the lights on that night.

I’ll even admit that I don’t know for sure that it’s not what it seems to be.
    However,
    think about it:
We know the first and last name of the lady
BUT … no one on the entire internet knows what City or State it was from.
    How can that be?

The recording is to emotionally powerful that it can’t be taken lightly.
    And yet,
there is no record of the City, County, or State where it happened
ever writing it’s own news article about it, airing it’s own news broadcast about it, no links to an obituary, etc..
There’s not even a record of any local political group (not even a church or a pro-gun group) rallying around it from when it actually happened; else we’d know when & where it happened.

    Everyone remembers the name “Ruth Price” once they’ve heard this;
but no one remembers where it happened.
    Again …
    How can that be?

The 911 operator didn’t even say the name of the area she was serving.; which is unusual (though possible; of course).

    And again,
while their are many sites on the internet vouching for it as legit …
not one can site a source, other than some other site where members are saying it’s real, and then siting yet another source where someone else says it’s real, where they site another forum,
    etc, etc, etc..

Even the troll that posted here, saying that his family is the family of Ruth Price … can’t tell us where it supposedly happened.

It’s an urban legend; where the only proof in existance … might have been either totally acted, or might have been spliced together from a two different real incidents.

We’ll never know for sure that it’s 100% legit; unless God himself (or “them selves”; to humor any Trinitarian out there) someday vouches for it.

Though, I have to disagree about the gun, even more strongly.
Even if it was real, …
the woman was in “rescue me” mode, and she was then caught offguard, and then she paniced, and then she was quickly tackled.
A gun is like a car; in that it’s only as effective as it’s driver.
And she didn’t come across as someone that was prepared to be behind that wheel.

There’s a chance that she (in this hypothetical) would have been ready and then gotten off an effective shot before it was too late.
    But it’s more likely that the man would have taken the gun, then shot her with it, and then stole it;
-where his (probably drug-feening) self would have likely felt empowered enough to take on a few more neighbors that night; killing more people in the process.

    Throughout the entire internet,
it seems that not one site can provide proof that it’s legit.

Everyone just quotes some other site that quotes another, that quotes another; where someone … somewhere … at some point .. said it was legit.

Surely there would be a news article, and more verifiable info, if it was.

“Kitty”; I think you became “notorious” by trolling.

I don’t think the event is real. I think it was a stunt, staged by liberal gun nuts; for use in the following politically-based pro-gun fear-mongering that swept through the net on the next wave.

And (regardless) no one’s family is stupid enough to search-and-click links that they don’t want to find, and which they know they can’t handle listening to.

    Hi JamesA,
I have read in various places that this is a valid 911 call. Also when listening it sounds pretty authentic to me.
BTW, there are trolls who tend to visit my site due to the Anontalk debacle, so I suspect the supposed family member was not actually family at all.
    Cheers

Your sad attempts at posting as someone else, Kitty, aren’t working. We’re not fooled.
