LanebryantsketchThe Lane Bryant murderer is stilll on the loose and needs to be caught so that justice can be done. He is walking around thinking he got away with his murderous deed but he can only hide and run for so long. I have full faith that something will give way and he will be brought to justice. Murderous, evil, heartless individuals like him is the reason the death penalty exists.

On Feb 2, 2008 the Lane Bryant killer took the lives of Rhonda McFarland, 42 - Joliet; Carrie H. Chiuso, 33 – Frankfort; Connie R. Woolfolk, 37 – Flossmoor; Sarah T. Szafranski, 22 – Oak Forest; and Jennifer L. Bishop, 34 - South Bend, Ind.

The killer is described as a black man, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 200 to 230 pounds and with puffy corn rows in his hair. The gunman walked into the Lane Bryant store near Harlem Avenue and 191st Street on the pretext of making a delivery wearing a black winter coat and black jeans with rhinestones. After chatting with the victims, he announced a holdup. He forced them to a back area where he bound them with duct tape, placed them face down on the floor and covered their heads with clothing. Police said he also fondled one of the victims.

All of the victims were shot in the back of the head except for Rhonda McFarland, who was shot in the forehead.

A 37 sec 911 call was made to the police. Although most of the phrases are difficult to decipher, at one point it sounds like the killer says “I’m losing it” and “foolishness.”
