Cold Case – Person of Interest in unsolved 41 year-old disappearance of David Adams

On May 3, 1968 8-yr-old David Adams vanished while walking home from a friends house in Issaquah, Washington. Cold case detectives say they have now zoned in on a suspect and are asking for the publics help in turning up any new information.

In 1968, Search and Rescue teams launched a massive search around David’s home. Unfortunately he was never found and has never been found to this day. “Since then I have come to the firm conviction that he was not lost, that somebody intervened in some way. Whether it was through an accident or a deliberate malicious act, I don’t know,” - Ann Adams, the David Adams mother.

Earlier this year David Adam’s cold case was reopened by King County detectives with the funding of a federal grant. When they looked deeper into the investigation, they knew there was only one person who had access to David during the time he disappeared. That man was in his 20’s and lived in the neighborhood at the time. That man is now in his 60’s and lives in Lewis County, Washington. He has taken a polygraph and reportedly failed.
