Cold Case – Janet Rose Dolgae missing since 1989

Janet Rose Dolgae 28-yrs went missing October 1989. Janet’s family have had a tremendous amount of hardship gaining police and media attention to help find Janet. However Janet’s brother and niece are determined to bring this case to closure. In a Vindicator article titled “The case that fell through the cracks” many details are told about how Janet’s case has literally been forgotten for the past 20-yrs. There are troubling reports of lost paperwork, Jurisdiction issues, Legal hurdles, and missing reports.

“It’s almost like I’ve been stonewalled by all these [police] departments,” Jim Henderson said.

In a Youtube video, the author states that they have asked for help from AMW (America’s Most Wanted) and have received no response.

Janet left her home for work in Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio and has never been seen since. Janet was working as a hostess at a well known Italian restaurant; Alberini’s. Janet just simply vanished. Her brother Jim Henderson and her family and friends have been desperately searching for her for twenty long years. Janet turned 49-yrs on January 11, 2009.
